The printing press told the stories, and now it is the story

The printing press is an important part of the San Felipe story.

This history is preserved not only in the permanent museum exhibit but also at the print shop in the Villa de Austin, where a replica press demonstrates historic printing methods.

The Friends fund a training trip to Arkansas, where an expert teaches print-shop volunteers specialized techniques. Those volunteers then share their knowledge with visitors to the Villa, offering hands-on opportunities with the equipment.
