Who are the Friends of San Felipe de Austin?
“Friends” groups are nonprofit organizations established to support a specific purpose by providing financial assistance, volunteer labor, and resources. These nonprofit, charitable groups help enhance the services and programs offered by the institution they support, often through fundraising and community engagement efforts.
The Friends of San Felipe de Austin help with daily programs, special events, fundraising, and public education, and serve as important links to local communities. We invite the public to become members and be part of our effort to preserve this history. We also serve as the means to raise funds through grants and donations for projects, programs, and special events.
